This past Thursday I had the pleasure and the honor to play the after party for the Everyman’s Journey debut after party. The film is a story about Journey’s new front man Arnel Pineda. Tells about his struggle and his long road to success with the band. After the debut at the Tribeca Film Festival the band headed over to Plunge Rooftop @ the Gansevoort. Arnel & Jonathan Cain said a few words of thanks to all their fans. After the speech I played Arnels version of Don’t Stop Believin’ (per request of the band) and followed it up with a ton of other rock classics.
Unfortunately I was too busy to get any pictures but I snapped one of the banner after I set up.
Also if you haven’t heard him already I recommend to check out Arnel Pineda on youtube. The guy has a beauty of a voice.
Here is a new Music Talkin’-cast. This one is filled with a bunch of new house music and its a banger! i also threw in some funky shit at the end. This kicks off with a new remix from hardwell and it slams! im sure you all know the artist on this one… finished it off with the new record from diplo and nicky da b which has been goin off for me every night! i’d also like to mention, the record after “greyhound” is a new colabo from dstar and matthew leface which will be released very soon on LBLs label so keep an eye out for it! I’m djing a party for DAN (Downtown Alternative Nights) Hartford on April 1st at Up or on the Rocks. In the past DAN events have always been a pleasure to work for. Expect top 40, freestyle, 90s hits, reggae and some house.

This past Monday I played for Twelv Magazines Preview Party at Plunge Rooftop. The event was hosted by Twelv Magazine & Lost Art, Asahi Beer and Plunge Rooftop. Guests were shown previews of the magazine and enjoyed Absolut, Asahi beer and Ippin Sake. Twelv Mag caters to the High Fashion crowd and you can check them out here – http://twelv.tumblr.com/ . I played a mix of disco house, 80′s , 90′s and rock. I recorded the set and like a moron forgot to save it… shame on me.
The new Thursday night at Bar Basque at the Eventi Hotel also kicked off last Thursday. It was a great turn out and I expect it to be just as good next week. I play an open format; hip hop, funk, house, top 40, rock etc… definitely come through!
Also this week i’ll be at Plunge Rooftop on Friday and McFaddens in Boston in the vault (downstairs) on Saturday. I’ll have a new podcast episode up this week as well. Hope to see ya’ll out this weekend!

This past Monday I played an event hosted by Bleu Magazine and Avion Tequila. Nick Cannon received Bleu Magazines “Man of the Year” and played a dj set; I opened and closed out the night. The event went from 7 – midnight and we played mostly hip hop all night.. old and new. I kicked it off with a little funk and hit some mainstream dance music later on. Shouts to Boy Boy from 92.3 on the mic and Avion Tequila for the t.. on that deep v neck game! [insert sarcasm]. Also congrats to Nick Cannon for the award.
